Mission leader, P.R. (Rob) Barber III has over 40 years of experience in a wide variety of professional and ministry disciplines and is passionate about bringing the goodness that has been loosed in Heaven into lives in this world.
It is our belief that if you distilled the entire Bible to its most simple essence, the mission statement of the Father would read: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.” (John 3:16-17) The mission statement of the Son would read, “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” (Luke 19:10) With regard to the Holy Spirit, we could distill the Bible to this statement, in John 16:14, where Jesus tells us, “He will glorify Me,” There is so much more to understand here, but these will have to do for now.
Our mission, therefore, is to fulfill Jesus’ command in Mark 16:15-18 “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
